Now in its 17th year, the Restaurant and Bar Design awards is the world’s leading competition dedicated to excellence in design of food and beverage spaces. It celebrates the most innovative, beautifully crafted environments, and honours the designers and brands that bring them to life.

This marks our second nomination for the RBDA, following our 2020 win for The Clockspire Restaurant. We are honoured once again to be recognised among the industry’s finest.

Designed in collaboration with the esteemed Mandarin Oriental brand and developers Clivedale London, The Rooftop forms a key part of Mandarin Oriental, Mayfair. Conceived as an elegant sanctuary above the vibrant streets of Mayfair, the space offers a sense of refined seclusion. The interior palette – rich in deep blues, burgundy and warm amber – was inspired by the colours of twilight, echoing the luxurious atmosphere of the surrounding neighbourhood.
