Studio Indigo is a collective of dynamic Architects and talented Interior Designers, Technicians and Project Managers, with a multi-disciplinary approach, all under one roof.

A creative cross-pollination across architecture and interior design ensure cohesive spaces are realised with the highest level of detail that are personal to each client.


Based in a converted warehouse overlooking the Thames in Chelsea and established in 2005 by Architect and Creative Director, Mike Fisher, the London-based company has garnered a reputation for timeless, story-laded spaces across residential, commercial and yachts around the globe.

Our diverse team come from twenty countries and between whom speak seventeen different languages: a truly diverse environment.

    Our Approach

    For us, each project is completely unique and we want to embark on a design journey with the client that is creative, imaginative, surprising and enjoyable.  Our agile ‘can-do’ attitude accompanied by our large multi-skilled workforce enables projects to be realised anywhere globally.

    Our designs are not formulaic or trend-driven. At Studio Indigo we aim to cultivate a creative dialogue between client, architects, artisans and craftsmen to ensure each home tells its own unique story.

    The in-house collaboration between architect and interior designer is our secret to creating superior spaces. We are past masters at ensuring the internal and external fabric of a building blends seamlessly, whilst always taking into account its location and heritage.

    We’ll develop the interiors with a close collaboration with our architects, followed by the selection and sourcing of fabrics, furniture and art – all in the pursuit of creating interiors of quality and individuality

Mike Fisher

Creative DirectorEnglish, German

Mike Fisher graduated in Architecture from the University of Dundee and went on to complete his Master’s Degree at Oxford Brookes in Urban Design.
He has over 25 years’ experience in designing and building residential properties in the UK and across the world, and is increasingly becoming involved in superyacht design.

Since its inception, Mike has seen Studio Indigo grow from modest beginnings and he now leads a team of nearly 50 skilled and dedicated architects and interior designers.

Mike is passionate about his work and is a great believer in creating exceptional environments by using good design, quality materials and skilled workmanship. The key to his success lies in integrating architecture and interior design, listening to his clients wishes and skillfully interpreting their desires to create memorable, timeless and comfortable spaces – be it in a house, superyacht or aircraft.


James Kandutsch

Chief Executive English

New Zealand born, James Kandutsch is a dedicated and ambitious designer with over 18 years’ experience in the luxury design industry. After 12 years in the company, James was promoted to Chief Executive of Studio Indigo where he has been instrumental on the evolution and expansion of the business through his expert client relations, project management skills and design expertise.

James’s ambition comes from a desire to work with the very best and for the very best, delivering projects that surpass expectations. He thrives on curiosity and diversity, a key driver in the Studio’s ability to explore across different typologies, learning from each industry and applying them within future projects. A cross-pollination of that results in unique and exciting developments.

James has worked on and led teams on a number of prestigious residential projects in both the UK and internationally. Since project managing and delivering award-winning superyacht Joy in 2016, James has spearheaded the growth of the yacht department, building relationships across this niche industry and raising our profile as yacht designers. This has resulted in a deep understanding of luxury of which James has been able to bring through to our residential and commercial work.

Within the last 8 years, James’s drive and ambition have led the business to grow both as a team and our client base exponentially. Working with UHNWIs across the globe, his strive for delivering design excellence has resulted in projects in Baku, the Middle East, Russia and Europe, increasing our international portfolio and global reputation.


Tyché McCaig

DirectorEnglish, Afrikaans

Tyche joined Studio Indigo in 2007 having graduated from the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa where her passion for Historical Architecture developed.

As Head of Architecture, she ensures all the projects within the studio are managed and delivered to an exceptional quality. Her pragmatic design skills and her ability to understand and interpret the client and interior designer’s requirements, linked with the ability to visually interpret the potential of any given space make her invaluable. Tyche is fluent in English and Afrikaans.


Peter Tulinski

Estates DirectorPolish, Russian, German , English

Peter graduated from the University of Wroclaw with a degree in Technology and has been a part of the Studio Indigo team since its conception.

Peter is the Head of Estate Management and is responsible for managing completed projects on behalf of our clients. He is also responsible for all the office IT systems. Peter’s wealth of experience and his ability to ‘turn his hand’ to anything makes him a great asset to the company.

His humour and excellent people skills are invaluable for ‘getting things done’. Peter is fluent in Polish, Russian , German and English.


Rohit Solanki

Finance DirectorEnglish, Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi

Rohit joined Studio Indigo in 2013 and is head up the Finance Department. Rohit gained his degree in Commerce and Economics from the Mumbai University, India and brings over 25 years of experience working in the fields of accountancy, taxation and auditing. Over the years he has built up a significant understanding of a wide spectrum of small to medium sized companies.


Liam Saxby


Liam graduated from the University of West of England with a degree in Architectural Technology and is a Chartered Member of the MCIAT institute. He joined Studio Indigo in 2014 and is part of the Technical design team. As Associate Director, Liam has strong project management and construction skills has led him to complete a number of complex developments within the Studio.


Michael Harris

Associate DirectorEnglish, Italian, French

Michael is highly experienced in designing distinctly bespoke architecture and interiors bringing over 16 years’ experience within the industry. He joined Studio Indigo as an Associate Director in late 2021.  With a global portfolio that includes projects in the UK, New York, Europe and Asia, he has a wealth of knowledge in various industries and across disciplines encompassing high-end residential and commercial. Michael trained in classical architecture at the University of Notre Dame and then went on to receive a Masters in Architecture from Harvard University, making him incredibly comfortable across a range of architectural idioms. Having lived in many locations throughout his lifetime including New York and Rome, he settled in the UK  and has worked for prominent studios such as Zaha Hadid and The Princes’ Foundation. To compliment his passions, Michael is a keen sketcher and painter using dip pen, ink and brush. He speaks English, Italian and French.


Anita Heverin

AssociateEnglish, Irish, French

Irish native Anita, graduated from the Waterford Institute of Technology with Diploma in both Architectural Technology and post grad Diploma in Project Management from Trinity College. She is a member of CIAT institute and joined Studio Indigo in 2014 quickly becoming a Project Leader showing her strong technical abilities and project management skills. In 2021, Anita became an Associate at the Studio and has managed a number of projects during the planning, tender and construction processes. Internally she has implemented a staff development program to ensure the team is up to date with constructions trends, relevant training  and innovative products, whilst also working to standardise the Studio’s technical drawings and CAD drafting. She speaks Irish, French and English.



Cornelius Crankson

AssociateEnglish, Fante

Born and raised in Ghana, Cornelius graduated from the Kwawe Nkuwah University of Science and Technology with a Postgraduate degree in Architecture in 2007. Since joining Studio Indigo in 2009, he has quickly become our Heritage Expert having an abundance of knowledge in British Conservation laws. Cornelius has been working on developments, making sure that sites of significant heritage achieve full planning consent from local authorities. He is also a Project Leader and most notably is working on large Country Estates in Somerset and the Cotswold. He speaks Fante and English.


Lyne Arbid

AssociateEnglish, French, Arabic, Italian

Lyne is a well-travelled Interior Architect and is part of the Interiors team after joining Studio Indigo in 2016. Originally from Lebanon but born in Paris, she has a wonderful mix of skills having acquired a degree in Interior Architecture from the Academic Libanaise des Beaux Arts in Lebanon, and an additional two Masters in Interior Design and Lighting Design in Florence. She brings an international experience of different cultures to her designs and is most notably working on a large complex development in India. She speaks French, English, Arabic and Italian.


Olga Fox

AssociateEnglish, Russian

Olga joined Studio Indigo in 2022 bringing a wealth of experience with a career within the design industry spanning 15 years.  A RIBA Chartered Architect, Russian born Olga has a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Melbourne in Australia, where she worked with prestigious companies; she obtained further professional qualifications from the Architectural Association in London.

Olga has extensive knowledge in luxury residential, heritage and hospitality sectors in both the UK and internationally. She has a passion for interiors and excels in the design, delivery and project management of unique, world-class schemes from concept to completion. She has an established reputation for quality monitoring on prime residential projects, taking particular interest in lighting design and the specification and sourcing of natural materials. With excellent attention to detail and dedication, she liaises closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure the finest designs are actualised.

Recent projects include the delivery of the interior architecture and design of The Bryanston,  super prime 54 residences with state-of-the-art amenities, including Business Suites, Private Dining, Spa and Wellness facilities overlooking Hyde Park in collaboration with Rafael Vinoly, featured in Financial Times, The Telegraph and The Times; and the successful conversion of a Category A Listed Manor House in Scotland into a luxury boutique hotel. She speaks English and Russian.


Daniella Perez Herrera

PR and Marketing ManagerEnglish, Spanish

Born in Sweden, but of Colombian descent, Daniella has been at the forefront of pushing the Studio Indigo Brand as well as managing the office since joining in 2017. With an Interior Design Degree and Digital Marketing Diploma under her belt, Daniella brings the right mix of skills to our Marketing and PR department. She is fluent in Spanish and English.


Sarah Oliver

Executive AssistantEnglish, German

Having spent over 12 years in the TV industry, Sarah joined Studio Indigo at its conception in 2006 and has since then watched the company flourish from a small office to a large 45 person Studio. She is the HR Manager and is also Executive Assistant to Creative Director, Mike Fisher.


Johanna Salgado

Office ManagerSpanish, English, Romanian

Born and raised in North Spain , Johanna always had big aspirations to live and work in a big city like London. After finishing her primary education degree in the University of Santander, she decided to leave her career in teaching and follow her dreams of moving abroad. Her previous experience as a receptionist and in client-facing roles have given her essential experience which she has brought to her role as Studio Indigo’s Office Manager. Johanna is the first point of contact for all who enter the studio and she ensures all our clients, external visitors and staff are well take care-off. She is creative and a perfectionist and if she can’t answer the phone, she’ll likely be organising one of our Studio Indigo office parties. She speaks Spanish, English and Romanian.


Carlota Cancelas-Souto

English, Spanish

Born in Asturias Spain, Carlota graduated from the Universidade Da Coruna in Technical Architecture after always having a passion for design and the built environment. Since moving to London,  she’s worked in high-end studios in the UK and has extensive experience within Kensington and Chelsea. Carlota’s multi-disciplinary skills has created a hybrid architectural role where she has the technical background paired with design skills. She loves using 3D software’s to communicate her designs accurately working closely with management on projects and new business. Carlota speaks Spanish and English.


David McDermott


David is an experienced professional who joined Studio Indigo in mid- 2021 as Senior Architect. He obtained his Ba(Hons) degree at Oxford Brookes and a Diploma in Architecture at the University of Brighton, and then went on to study a Post-graduate in Professional Management and Practice from the prestigious Bartlett School of Architecture. David brings over 25 years’ experience in the industry having worked on numerous high-end residential, retail and commercial projects. Notable achievements include delivering the Louis Vuitton Flagship store in Bond Street, London as Executive Architect. He is skilled in architectural project and design management, and has extensive experience in technical delivery, construction and architectural drawings. In his spare time, you’ll find him practicing Tai Chi.


Helen Menkiti

ArchitectureEnglish, Igbo

Helen is an Interior Architect of Nigerian descent. She graduated from the University of Nigeria with a degree in Architecture. She joined Studio Indigo in 2017 and is currently a part of a large complex development based in India. Helen brings over 14 years’ experience within residential and hospitality design. Her strong CAD skills also means she manages the conceptualisation and designs of the interior architecture. She speaks English and Igbo.


Jessica Irwin


Northern Irish born and bred Jess is a detailed-orientated Architectural Technologist after graduating from Ulster University in Belfast in Architectural Technology and Management in 2018. She brings a high level of experience within Kensington and Chelsea having worked on multiple luxury projects in prime London areas. Having joined Studio Indigo in 2021, she works closely with both Architects and Interior Designers to ensure the technological aspects of their designs are feasible and helps bring their projects to life. Jess is responsible for construction detailing and creating tender and drawing packages on a range of projects from large residential family homes to 60m yachts. She has a real strength for coordinating projects as well as detailing large luxury basements ranging from 192-2000m2 in size. Jess is currently working towards obtaining a CIAT Chartered status.


Kashif Ahmed

ArchitectureEnglish, Urdu, Panjabi

Born in Pakistan in the City of Rawalpindi, Kash immigrated to England in 2000 and joined Studio Indigo in 2011. He graduated from the University of Westminster with a degree in Architectural Technology and is a key member of the Technical Team in the Studio. Kash brings over 28 years’ experience and has worked on some of the most prestigious projects, providing and dealing with the building control and technical drawings. In 2020, Kash became a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT).  He speaks English, Urdu and Punjabi.


Letizia Messina

ArchitectureEnglish, Italian

Born in Sicily, Letizia has a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Florence, Italy. She migrated to London in 2013 and her passion and attention to detail has led her to work on some fantastic high-end residential projects. She brings a wealth of experience to Studio Indigo having recently joined in October 2019 as Project Architect and can speak English and Italian.


Marco Godinho

ArchitectureEnglish, Portuguese, Spanish

Born in England but of Portuguese descent, he graduated from University of Coimbra in 2012 with an Architectural degree and is a RIBA Chartered Architect. Having joined the studio in 2013, Marco has shown a great deal of passion for all things architectural and brings to the studio strong technical and visualisation skills, fast becoming a key member to the Studio when creating SketchUp Models. He’s recently completed a Ski chalet project in Switzerland and is working on a townhouse project in Chelsea and a Listed property on the countryside. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English


Mateusz Wlosek

ArchitectureEnglish, Polish

Born in the UK but of Polish descent, Matt joined Studio Indigo in 2021 and is a talented Architectural Assistant. He obtained a degree in Architecture from the University of Portsmouth and subsequently completed an MA in Architecture at Oxford Brooks University where he also specialised in sustainable building and design. Matt’s previous experience lies largely in small to medium-scale residential projects as well as some large commercial work across all RIBA stages having delivered many projects within the UK. Since joining Studio Indigo, Matt has proven to be a strong multi-tasking individual who thrives on problem solving and is becoming a well-rounded designer by also turning his hand to the interior architecture of projects. Now as Project Leader he is managing a large high-end residential home in Kensington and Chelsea, whilst also working towards completing his Part 3 qualifications. Matt speaks Polish and English.


Nargiz Mammadova

ArchitectureEnglish, Russian

Nargiz was born in Baku and has a Masters in Architecture and Urban Planning from Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. She joined Studio Indigo as a Project Manager in 2018 and has brought a wealth of experience across residential, hospitality, sports and recreational  projects around the world, having worked at various international multi-disciplinary practices.She has been a great addition to the team and is currently working on a prestigious project in Moscow. As well as her Masters in Architecture, Nargiz holds an MBA in Business Economics and Management. She is fluent in Russian, English, Azerbaijani and Turkish.



Paulo Rodrigues

ArchitectureEnglish, Portuguese

Born and raised in Portugal, Paulo graduated from the University of Beja as a Visual Art Teacher. Upon moving to London, he joined Studio Indigo in 2014 as an Architectural Technician. He is a member of the Technical Team and works closely with architects and designers to produce drawings and designs. Paulo speaks Portuguese and English.


Priya Girdhar

Interior ArchitectureEnglish, Hindi, Punjabi

Priya is a talented and well-rounded designer working within our interior architecture team, helping bridge the gap between both disciplines. Born in Lucknow, India she obtained her Architecture degree in New Delhi and gained experience working on projects from construction right through to delivering FF&E before moving to London in 2005. Since coming to the UK, Priya worked in styling show homes to designing kitchen and bathrooms, learning the art of detail and the importance of technical design. Priya brought this experience to the high-end interior industry working from prominent design studios before joining Studio Indigo. With over 15 years’ experience, she has a real passion for colour and texture alongside focusing on technical details and joinery and enjoys collaborating with architects and interior designers to ensure the feasibility of projects. She speak English, Hindi and Punjabi.


Sam Lake


Having joined Studio Indigo in 2018, Sam has quickly become an important part of the Architectural Technical Department, bringing great experience to the Studio. Born in Newcastle, he graduated from Northumbria University in 2015 after studying Architectural Technology. As Project Leader, he is managing various residential projects in both London and further afield, working from concept to completion. He has a deep technical understanding of construction practices and Listed Buildings.


Shilpa Kalra

Interior ArchitectureHindi, English, Punjabi

Shilpa was born and raised in India, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of New Delhi.  With a deep yearning for cultural exposures she moved to the UK in 2012 and has worked in notable design studios in London & India, bringing over 12 experience within the high-end residential sector. Shilpa is a part of the Interior Architecture team helping bridge the gap between Architects and Interior Designers –  her technical skills are second to none and she loves a challenge. She has a passion for photography and travel giving her a keen eye for detail. Shilpa speaks Hindi, English and Punjabi


Theo Touisizoglou

ArchitectureEnglish, Greek, German

Theo is a Senior Architect from Athens, Greece, bringing over 19 years of experience to Studio Indigo. He completed his Masters in Architecture with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and obtained his Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Edinburgh. Since 2003, Theo has been leading numerous prestigious projects both in the UK and internationally. Amongst these, he was fortunate to have led the interior architecture and completion of one of Dubai’s most expensive 20,000 sq. ft penthouse in One Palm Jumeirah. Having gathered a wealth of experience in central London’s ultra-prime properties such as One Hyde Park, 100 Knightsbridge and The Lancasters and the Belgrave Square, Theo’s strengths lie on his ability to work and manage all project stages with a fluent communication style towards clients and his team. He loves planning, strategizing and sharing concept ideas via traditional hand sketching. He speaks English, Greek and German


Tom Hatzor

ArchitectureEnglish, Hebrew

Born and raised in United Kingdom, Tom Hatzor studied Art and went on to complete his Part 1 and Part 2 at the Architectural Association School of Architecture. He has spent the last five years working within the Hospitality and Residential sectors helping deliver a number of hotels and F&B spaces; The includes a £40m refurbishment of The Biltmore in Mayfair, Villa Copenhagen in Denmark and the Oaks Prague Pavilion in Czech Republic amongst others. Tom joined Studio Indigo in 2021 as an Architectural Assistant, bringing his strengths in CAD and creative thinking to work on high-end residential homes in London’s super-prime areas. His calm demeanour puts everyone at ease, bringing a positive energy to every project.  He speaks English and Hebrew.


Bianca Black

Interior DesignEnglish, Romanian, Spanish

Born in Bucharest Romania, Bianca is a talented, well-rounded Interior Architect with over 7 years’ experience in the interior design industry. She graduated from Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in 2008 as an Interior Architect and went on to complete a Masters in Advanced Architectural Design from Oxford Brooks University. Her love for textures and intricate details and the desire to work closer with the client led her to pursue high-end residential interior design within prestigious studios in London. Having worked previously with Seymour Diamond as well as the world-renowned Terence Disdale, she also brings a wealth of knowledge within yacht design with her portfolio including several 100m+ yachts. She is technically skilled and a keen problem solver. Bianca loves hand sketching and concept development. She speak English, Romanian and Spanish.


Charlotte Chesney

Interior DesignEnglish

Charlotte’s passion for art has seen her work in iconic institutions such as the auction house Sotheby’s after obtaining a degree in Art History from the University of Leeds. However, in 2014 she undertook an Interior Design Diploma at KLC after wanting to take a more creative career path that blended her love of art and design. The London-born and bred designer has since worked in top studios across London and later joined Studio Indigo in 2020. Charlotte loves going on a journey with the client and getting to know their lifestyles and personalities so she can design spaces that truly reflect them.


Christopher Cronin

Interior DesignEnglish

Born in Yorkshire, Chris graduated from Leeds Met University in Interior Architecture and Design. He has over a decade of experience within the design industry having worked as both an Interior Architect and Interior Designer for both private clients, top studios in the UK and his own property development projects. Chris has also worked for luxury wallpaper supplier Fromental and has a keen eye for choosing fabrics, textures and colour; paired with a technical background that allows him to understand form and space. He joined Studio Indigo in 2020 as a part of the Interiors team and is working on a large family home in one of London’s most desirable streets.


Connie Sutton

Interior DesignEnglish

Born and bred in London, Connie joined Studio Indigo earlier in 2019 after graduating from KLC School of Design with a Diploma in Interior Design. Her early career began as a PA at a Law firm, to which after she took a year out to travel down under in Australia. Her travels reinspired her younger urges to be an Interior Designer, having always had a creative flair throughout school and whilst studying fine art.  Connie is currently working on a large villa in Nottinghill and speaks English.


Dominique Bonino

Interior DesignEnglish, Dutch

New York-born and raised in California, Dominique recently joined Studio Indigo after a successful internship within the Studio last spring. Prior to joining as a Junior Interior Designer, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tisch NY University. She has a colourful background within the performing arts, touring America and singing and acting on cruise ships. Dominique moved to England in 2014 and found her passion for the design world through her own refurbishment project and where she further cemented this by graduating from KLC with a diploma in Interior Design. She is now working on international projects in both Moscow and India. Dominique is fluent in English and Dutch.


Francesca Vrittone

Interior DesignItalian, English.

Born in Lake Como, Italy, Francesca joined Studio Indigo in 2021  and is a talented interior designer with a love for yacht design. She graduated in 2014 from the European Institute of Design in Milan and moved to the UK in 2016. Francesca has a wide knowledge from concept design to project management,  procurement to installation, bringing with her over 6 years experience within high-end residential design to the Studio. Her sketching and drawing skills allow her to truly communicate her design point of view which she puts to great use, especially within the studio’s yacht team. In her spare time she is also a keen latin dancer and speaks Italian and English.


Martynika Bielawska

Interior DesignPolish, English

Polish-born Martynika, joined Studio Indigo in 2020 and is a talented Interior Designer, obtaining her degree in Interior Architecture from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design. She has over 8 years’ experience  within high-end residential industry having worked in top studios in both the UK and in Holland. Her past projects include yachts in The Netherlands, private residences in Qatar , Israel and London. Martynika has a passion for colour and art, and her creative flair can be seen through to her work and hand sketches. She speaks Polish and English.


Rebecca Middleton

Interior DesignEnglish

Lawyer, turned Marketing Director turned Interior Designer, Rebecca has a colourful background and brings a wealth of experience across disciplines to Studio Indigo. Having obtained a Law degree from the University of Nottingham, a chance encounter at a Theatre company persuaded her to leave the corporate world and jump into a fast paced world of events and marketing within the food & beverage industry; a successful career that spanned 15 years. Rebecca worked for major companies in the UK reaching Marketing Director, meanwhile a continued passion for Interior Design grew further upon renovating her own home and in turn acquired a number of clients along the way. As the pandemic in 2020 impacted the events industry, Rebecca took the opportunity to retrain and follow her true passion for design and obtained a Diploma from KLC London in Interior Design. On her last year, her final project successfully won her an internship with Studio Indigo where she quickly proved herself and join the team as a permanent Interior Designer.  Rebecca loves the creative and collaborative environment and is thriving within the Design team. Sophie Warnars

Sophie is a talented Senior Interior Designer who has been at the Studio since 2014 and is a key part of the design team. She studied Interior Design at KLC London and has over a decade of experience within the industry . Sophie has pushed the boundaries of creativity and her passion for design has meant her schemes have exceeded client expectations. As Senior Interior Designer and Team Leader she has successfully completed a number of prestigious projects within the Studio. Sophie was born in the Netherlands but grew up in South Africa where she obtained a degree in journalism, film and media from the University of Cape Town. She speaks Dutch, English and Afrikaans.
