Based in a converted warehouse overlooking the Thames in Chelsea, Studio Indigo was established as a result of Creative Director Mike Fisher’s ambition to create a multidisciplinary practice encompassing architecture, interior design and building management.

Since its inception in 2005, the company has gone from strength to strength, progressing to their current national and international profile.

Working alongside the highest quality craftsmen and artisans, tradesmen and professionals, they have been able to attain a consistent level of quality upon which their reputation is formed.

The office is a unique environment, comprising of more than 50 full-time professionals across Architecture, Interior Design and Building Management, and boasts a multi-cultural, multi-national workforce, with a diversity of language, culture and ideas.

Mike Fisher

Creative Director

Mike Fisher graduated in Architecture from the University of Dundee and went on to complete his Master’s Degree at Oxford Brookes in Urban Design.
He has over 25 years’ experience in designing and building residential properties in the UK and across the world, and is increasingly becoming involved in superyacht design.

Since its inception, Mike has seen Studio Indigo grow from modest beginnings and he now leads a team of nearly 50 skilled and dedicated architects and interior designers.

Mike is passionate about his work and is a great believer in creating exceptional environments by using good design, quality materials and skilled workmanship. The key to his success lies in integrating architecture and interior design, listening to his clients wishes and skillfully interpreting their desires to create memorable, timeless and comfortable spaces – be it in a house, superyacht or aircraft.


James Kandutsch

Chief Executive

James joined Studio Indigo in 2008 having spent the previous three years working on a range of residential and mixed-use schemes in his native New Zealand. He was promoted to Team Leader in 2010 before being made a Director in 2015, followed closely in 2016 by a further promotion to his current position of Joint Managing Director.

In 2020, after 12 years in the company, James was promoted to Chief Executive of Studio Indigo.

He has worked on and led teams on a number of prestigious projects, including two large Victorian town house refurbishments in Kensington and a Grade II listed building in Chelsea as well as a 70m Superyacht. James’s expertise in managing projects and his invaluable communication skills, coupled with his easy going Kiwi manner, help to reinforce Studio Indigo’s ability to lead projects effectively from concept through to completion.


Tyché McCaig


Tyche joined Studio Indigo in 2007 having graduated from the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa where her passion for Historical Architecture developed.

As Head of Architecture, she ensures all the projects within the studio are managed and delivered to an exceptional quality. Her pragmatic design skills and her ability to understand and interpret the client and interior designer’s requirements, linked with the ability to visually interpret the potential of any given space make her invaluable. Tyche is fluent in English and Afrikaans.


Melissa Hamilton

Interior Design DirectorEnglish, Italian

The Scottish Designer, Melissa Hamilton is Studio Indigo’s Interior Design Director and has over 15 year’s experience within the design industry. She graduated from UCL with a BA in Italian and Design. This includes her time in Milan, completing two years of Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano. She has an extensive portfolio of completed projects in super-prime London and Europe, and has a keen eye for art, colour and design.  Melissa oversees all interior projects at Studio Indigo ensuring they are delivered to the best quality. She is fluent in Italian and English.


Peter Tulinski

Estates Director

Peter graduated from the University of Wroclaw with a degree in Technology and has been a part of the Studio Indigo team since its conception.

Peter is the Head of Estate Management and is responsible for managing completed projects on behalf of our clients. He is also responsible for all the office IT systems. Peter’s wealth of experience and his ability to ‘turn his hand’ to anything makes him a great asset to the company.

His humour and excellent people skills are invaluable for ‘getting things done’. Peter is fluent in Polish, Russian , German and English.


Rohit Solanki

Finance Director

Rohit joined Studio Indigo in 2013 and is head up the Finance Department. Rohit gained his degree in Commerce and Economics from the Mumbai University, India and brings over 25 years of experience working in the fields of accountancy, taxation and auditing. Over the years he has built up a significant understanding of a wide spectrum of small to medium sized companies.


Federica Barbon

Associate Director

Federica joined Studio Indigo in 2014 and graduated from the University of Architecture in Venice, Italy. As Associate Director, she has a strong passion for all things design and has both an incredible technical and creative eye, having worked on some of the most prestigious projects within the studio. Her creative drawing skills are one of her most impressive tools, allowing her to clearly communicate her designs to her clients. Federica also lectures at the prestigious Inchbald School of Design lending her expertise within Interior Architecture. She is fluent in English and Italian.


Liam Saxby

Associate DirectorEnglish

Liam graduated from the University of West of England with a degree in Architectural Technology and is a Chartered Member of the MCIAT institute. He joined Studio Indigo in 2014 and is part of the Technical design team. As Associate Director, Liam has strong project management and construction skills has led him to complete a number of complex developments within the Studio.


Gemma McCloskey

Associate DirectorEnglish

Born in Ireland, Gemma graduated from Queens University in Belfast with a degree in Architecture. She joined Studio Indigo in 2016 as an Architectural Assistant, however with her love of fashion and colours, she has quickly shown her creative flair within Interior Design. As a well-rounded Designer and as our newly appointed Associate Director, she has worked and project managed various projects within the studio, successfully doing both the architecture and interior design. Her latest project includes the highly anticipated new Mandarin Oriental Boutique Hotel in Hanover Square, London.


Sophie Lenain

AssociateEnglish, French

Following a degree in Art History & French from The University of Manchester and an Interior Design course in Paris, Sophie began her career in Interior Design in 2002. She honed in her skills with several top UK designers before joining the studio in 2017 as a Senior Interior Designer. With a keen eye for colour, form and proportion, projects have ranged from London penthouses and listed family homes to houses in the South of France and luxury motor yachts. As newly appointed Associate, Sophie worked closely with the Interior Design Director to ensure the interior design team deliver projects to the highest of qualities. She speaks English and French.


Sarah Oliver

Executive AssistantEnglish, German

Having spent over 12 years in the TV industry, Sarah joined Studio Indigo at its conception in 2006 and has since then watched the company flourish from a small office to a large 45 person Studio. She is the HR Manager and is also Executive Assistant to Creative Director, Mike Fisher.


Daniella Perez Herrera

PR and Marketing ManagerEnglish, Spanish

Born in Sweden, but of Colombian descent, Daniella has been at the forefront of pushing the Studio Indigo Brand as well as managing the office since joining in 2017. With an Interior Design Degree and Digital Marketing Diploma under her belt, Daniella brings the right mix of skills to our Marketing and PR department. She is fluent in Spanish and English.


Adam Nightingale


Adam graduated from the University of Kent after obtaining his degree in Architecture. Moving to London, he completed his Part III becoming a fully qualified Architect in 2016. Since joining the Studio in 2014, Adam has been working on large complex projects in both London and India, having most notably finished a 5-storey family home in Kensington. With his strong architectural skills, Adam has continued on to become a Project Leader.


Anita Heverin

ArchitectureEnglish, Irish, French

Irish native Anita graduated from the Waterford Institute of Technology with a Diploma in both Architectural Technology and Project Management. She is an Associate of CIAT institute and joined Studio Indigo in 2014, quickly becoming a Project Leader showing her strong technical abilities and project management skills. She recently completed a 5-storey family home in Kensington. She speaks Irish, French and English.


Cornelius Crankson

ArchitectureEnglish, Fante

Born and raised in Ghana, Cornelius graduated from the Kwawe Nkuwah University of Science and Technology with a Postgraduate degree in Architecture in 2007. Since joining Studio Indigo in 2009, he has quickly become our Heritage Expert having an abundance of knowledge in British Conservation laws. Cornelius has been working on developments, making sure that sites of significant heritage achieve full planning consent from local authorities. He is also a Project Leader and most notably is working on large Country Estates in Somerset and the Cotswold. He speaks Fante and English.


Eloise Timms


Australia-born Ellie graduated as an Architect from the University of Western Australia. She immigrated to England in 2016 and joined Studio Indigo in the same year. Ellie has a Masters in Architecture and has been working on a number of prestigious projects in Kensington and is now Project Architect for a complex Mews home in the De Vere Conservation area.


Helen Menkiti

ArchitectureEnglish, Igbo

Helen is an Interior Architect of Nigerian descent. She graduated from the University of Nigeria with a degree in Architecture. She joined Studio Indigo in 2017 and is currently a part of a large complex development based in India. Helen brings over 14 years’ experience within residential and hospitality design. Her strong CAD skills also means she manages the conceptualisation and designs of the interior architecture. She speaks English and Igbo.


Kashif Ahmed

ArchitectureEnglish, Urdu, Panjabi

Born in Pakistan in the City of Rawalpindi, Kash immigrated to England in 2000 and joined Studio Indigo in 2011. He graduated from the University of Westminster with a degree in Architectural Technology and is a key member of the Technical Team in the Studio. Kash brings over 26 years’ experience and has worked on some of the most prestigious projects, providing and dealing with the building control and technical drawings.  He speaks English, Urdu and Punjabi.


Laurence Kinsella


The Scottish Architect graduated from the University of Dundee in 1999 and is an ARB/RIBA registered member. He joined Studio Indigo in 2017 and brings over 18 years’ experience within the high-end residential design. He is currently working on an impressive penthouse project in Mumbai, India.


Letizia Messina

ArchitectureEnglish, Italian

Born in Sicily, Letizia has a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Florence, Italy. She migrated to London in 2013 and her passion and attention to detail has led her to work on some fantastic high-end residential projects. She brings a wealth of experience to Studio Indigo having recently joined in October 2019 as Project Architect and can speak English and Italian.


Marco Godinho

ArchitectureEnglish, Portuguese, Spanish

Born in England but of Portuguese descent, he graduated from University of Coimbra in 2012 with an Architectural degree. Having joined the studio in 2013, Marco has shown a great deal of passion for all things architectural and brings to the studio strong technical and visualisation skills, fast becoming a key member to the Studio when creating SketchUp Models. He’s recently become Project Leader for a family home in Notting Hill. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English


Marta Nunez

ArchitectureEnglish, Spanish

Marta has recently joined Studio Indigo as part of the Technical team. Originally born in Alicante, Marta migrated to England after graduating from the University of Alicante in 2008 with a degree in Architectural Technology.  She brings with her an international experience having worked on projects around the world. Marta is currently working on a refurbishment of a large family apartment in Chelsea. She speaks English and Spanish


Nargiz Mammadova

ArchitectureEnglish, Russian

Nargiz was born in Baku and has a Masters in Architecture and Urban Planning from Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. She joined Studio Indigo as a Project Manager in 2018 and has brought a wealth of experience across residential, hospitality, sports and recreational  projects around the world, having worked at various international multi-disciplinary practices.She has been a great addition to the team and is currently working on a prestigious project in Moscow. As well as her Masters in Architecture, Nargiz holds an MBA in Business Economics and Management. She is fluent in Russian, English, Azerbaijani and Turkish.



Paulo Rodrigues

ArchitectureEnglish, Portuguese

Born and raised in Portugal, Paulo graduated from the University of Beja as a Visual Art Teacher. Upon moving to London, he joined Studio Indigo in 2014 as an Architectural Technician. He is a member of the Technical Team and works closely with architects and designers to produce drawings and designs. Paulo speaks Portuguese and English.


Sam Lake


Having recently joined Studio Indigo, Sam has quickly become an important part of the Revit team, bringing great experience to the Studio. Born in Newcastle, the Geordie graduated from Northumbria University in 2015 after studying Architectural Technology. Sam is currently working on a large housing development in Holland park, producing technical drawings and construction information


Viktor Stana

ArchitectureEnglish, Czech, German

Viktor is a RIBA registered Architect and graduated from Tut Tampere University in Finland in 2006 and has a degree in Urban Planning; He studied also in the AA School of Architecture. Born in Prague, he has worked on some of the most prestigious projects within the Studio after joining in 2014, including motor yacht JOY. He has previously worked on a number of Historic buildings and has a love for art and design. He speaks Czech, English and German.


Angela Pfeiffenberger-Stacey

InteriorsEnglish, German

Angela’s diverse background matches her open-minded and down to earth enthusiasm for all things design related. Born in Austria and raised in New Zealand she obtained a Bachelor of Teaching at Waikato University and then obtained an Interior Design Diploma in 2012 in the UK. She joined Studio Indigo in 2014 and is a member of the Interiors Team. With a rich tapestry of design influences from two very different cultures, Angela incorporates this into her design vision and style. Her methodical approach gives her the flexibility to switch quickly between projects. She is currently working on an international project in India as well as commercial and residential UK based projects. She speaks German and English.


Connie Sutton


Born and bred in London, Connie joined Studio Indigo earlier in 2019 after graduating from KLC School of Design with a Diploma in Interior Design. Her early career began as a PA at a Law firm, to which after she took a year out to travel down under in Australia. Her travels reinspired her younger urges to be an Interior Designer, having always had a creative flair throughout school and whilst studying fine art.  Connie is currently working on a large villa in Nottinghill and speaks English.


Dominique Bonino

InteriorsEnglish, Dutch

New York-born and raised in California, Dominique recently joined Studio Indigo after a successful internship within the Studio last spring. Prior to joining as a Junior Interior Designer, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tisch NY University. She has a colourful background within the performing arts, touring America and singing and acting on cruise ships. Dominique moved to England in 2014 and found her passion for the design world through her own refurbishment project and where she further cemented this by graduating from KLC with a diploma in Interior Design. She is now working on international projects in both Moscow and India. Dominique is fluent in English and Dutch.


Giorgia De Marchi

InteriorsEnglish, Italian

Born in Tuscany, Giorgia joined Studio Indigo in 2017 and is an Interior Designer. She has quickly shown her efficiency and creativity by working on some of the most prestigious projects within the office. This passion for interior design has translated into her work and she is currently working on an impressive penthouse project in India. She speaks Italian and English.


Lyne Arbid

InteriorsEnglish, French, Arabic, Italian

Lyne is a well-travelled Interior Architect and is part of the Interiors team after joining Studio Indigo in 2016. Originally from Lebanon but born in Paris, she has a wonderful mix of skills having acquired a degree in Interior Architecture from the Academic Libanaise des Beaux Arts in Lebanon, and an additional two Masters in Interior Design and Lighting Design in Florence. She brings an international experience of different cultures to her designs and is most notably working on a large complex development in India. She speaks French, English, Arabic and Italian.


Sophie Warnars

InteriorsEnglish, Afrikaans, Dutch

Sophie joined Studio Indigo in 2015 after studying Interior Design at KLC in London. She’s pushed the boundaries of creativity and her passion for design has meant her schemes have exceeded client expectations. She became a Senior Interior Designer after successfully completing a number of prestigious projects within the Studio. Sophie was born in the Netherlands but grew up in South Africa where she obtained a degree in journalism, film and media from the University of Cape Town. She speaks Dutch, English and Afrikaans.


Victoria Osoianu

InteriorsEnglish, Italian

Victoria is an Interior Architect, born in Chisinau, Moldova but of Italian descent. She went on to achieve two degrees in Interior Architecture from the Politecnico Di Milano and the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urban Planning. She joined Studio Indigo in 2016 and brings over 8 years’ experience in the industry. Her creative flair and strong technical skills have allowed to create schemes that surpass client expectations. She is currently working on a complex development in India. She speaks Russian, Italian, Moldovan and English.
