Studio Indigo designed a larger-than-life country mansion in the rural countryside of Moscow, Russia. The butterfly-shaped family home has been created to exploit the very best of luxury living and design, encompassing 5 bedrooms, a guest lodge, a gallery-style carpark and a 25m circular subterranean swimming pool
The 100,000sq.ft property is centred around a butterfly-style layout, the result of a cleverly designed concept that allows each room to benefit from natural light on this north-facing home. This also created four separate courtyards with well-manicured gardens and water fountains, whilst the front embracing wings welcome visitors and create a beautiful sense of arrival. The architecture is a blend of Art Deco and Swedish Classicism from the 1930s redesigned from a contemporary perspective with the façade featuring large floor-to-ceiling windows and subtle gold decorative details.
