Natural and Tactile Materials

A striking collection of Abaca and jute rugs from Stark Carpets, featuring geometric motifs, set the foundation for many rooms. These tactile, raw-feeling rugs add warmth to the villa’s cooler stone floors. Textures and fabrics from Pierre Frey, Nicholas Haslam, and George Spencer introduce pops of burnt orange and ocean blues, complementing the art and rugs throughout the home. Custom-designed furniture pieces enhance the proportions of the space, ensuring comfort and balance.

Eclectic Bedroom Designs

The adult children’s bedrooms feature layered tonal Navajo/Inca-style patterns through custom headboards, cushions, and furniture, rooted in natural fibres and highlighted by oversized sculptural lights. The principal bedroom on the top floor offers breath-taking views of the French countryside, with high ceilings, exposed white beams, and muted wood floorboards. This light-filled space is adorned with bohemian-style colours, textured fabrics, and plaster-based furniture pieces, all grounded by a luxurious mohair Peter Page rug.
