This project is a Grade II listed Arts and Craft house built at the turn of the century, sitting in extensive landscaped gardens. The project included the refurbishment of the original main house, a new family wing with kitchen, sitting rooms, new indoor pool and various pavilions and buildings within the grounds.
The house has been sensitively restored and its original character retained and enhanced where necessary to create a wonderful warm and comfortable home.
The new large family and leisure wing has been designed to be sympathetic to the original house in terms of scale and materials but in a more contemporary style to contrast but at the same time integrate with the original house. Much of the new work is buried into the hillside and beneath new terraces so that its true size is concealed and remains in harmony with the main house.
