Planning Success – Eaton Square

  • Planning Success – Eaton Square

Eaton Square is by far one of the most prime residential addresses in London which sits in the heart of Belgravia. Famous for the long stretch of six private gardens, it is known to be one of the few remaining ‘Garden Squares’ in London and is still managed by the Grosvenor Estate.

Unlike some other addresses in London, the buildings in Eaton Square have remained as residential addresses throughout the history of its existence. After World War II, Grosvenor Estate converted some of the town houses into apartments, creating flats “across” the original houses, which over the years meant a great loss of the original interior details.

Studio Indigo have been appointed by our Client as both Architect and Interior Designer to undertake the redesign of this historical apartment.

Due to the listed status of the building, on behalf of the Client we applied for listed building consent for the intenral alteration works and a new air conditioning unit at roof level. Studio Indigo are delighted that consent has recently been granted.
