New Project in Prime Chelsea Area
Studio Indigo is pleased to be working on a beautiful Victorian home in one of Chelsea’s prime residential streets. The brief will look to refurbish this dated property into a bright and light home with interiors that are contemporary but with a classic sensibility.
The semi-detached home has a large outdoor area both at the front and rear, and SI will aim to make the most of this feature by adding a contemporary extension housing a new garden dining room. This, amongst other features, will increase the property’s square footage by 50% from 3,800sq. ft to 6,200sq. ft. The façade will be restored to its former glory, reflecting the street’s typology.
The upper floors will benefit from a new cantilevered stone staircase ensuring improved flow and circulation to all floors. The planning application has received favourable feedback and we look forward to seeing the project progress.
