Steps To Maintaining a COVID-19 Safe Studio
ENSURING OUR TEAM’S SAFETY TO CONTINUE WORKING DURING THE COVID-19 CRISIS
It has been over 10 weeks since Studio Indigo set up 45 satellite offices in London and Somerset, fortunately, as a team we have been able to come together to ensure we continue an efficient and collaborative environment remotely.
As the lock down measures begin to slowly ease, Studio Indigo will begin a phased return back to the office from the middle of June.
There are undoubtedly more testing times ahead; however, as we all continue to get used to this new way of living and working, we are sure that together we will come out stronger, having developed both improved and better ways of working along the way.
We have taken the necessary steps to create safe working measures within the studio to ensure a safe return
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES TAKEN
> Installations of glass partitions screens between workstations
> Installed signage to the front of the office
> Installed an entrance area where all staff must use the sanitising gel, temperature reader and log book.
>Created a new water station at the front of the office to reduce traffic in one area
> hands-free sanitising gel dispensers through-out all desks and office
The first phase of staff within the office will be made up members who:
> are available to commute to and from the office without the use of public transport
> have no underlying health issues
> live with no members within the high-risk group
The rest of the team will continue to work remotely, with the support from our team and IT services.
All members of staff must remember to keep a 2m distance to each other within the office. It is recommended to phone the member of staff if you must speak to them,
ENTERING THE OFFICE
All staff must use the welcome area to sanitise and have their temperature taken before continuing to their desks.
WASHING HANDS REGULARLY
All staff members need to wash their hands and/or use the hand gels provided at regular intervals
USE LIFTS INSTEAD OF STAIRS
If possible, use the stairs rather than the lift to prevent the number of people congregating in a confined space
lift will be limited to 3 people per use, if stairs cannot be used.
NO EXTERNAL MEETINGS
Meetings with external partners must continue via video conferencing
RESTRICTED USE TO THE KITCHEN
Staff must bring lunches already prepared to prevent the kitchen from overcrowding. All crockery must be washed and all surfaces must be wiped with the wipes provided after use.
SHOULD A MEMBER OF STAFF FALL ILL, OR FEEL ANY OF THE SYMPTOMS RELATED TO COVID-19, YOU MUST LEAVE THE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY AND SELF-ISOLATE.
We want to thank our staff, our suppliers, contractors and clients for collaborating together to make everything possible to keep the office working during this crisis
