STUDIO INDIGO SUPPORTS CHARITY ‘DANCE FOR ALL’ IN CAPE TOWN
Studio Indigo are so pleased to help support a wonderful Charity based in South Africa, Cape Town.
Based in the suburbs of Athlone, ‘Dance for All’ gives children from surrounding areas the opportunity to receive a high level of dance training, helping them grow and giving them crucial life skills which will support their personal development and open up future career possibilities.
Professional Ballet dancer, Philip Boyd started his cause in 1991 and has been building on the legacy of CAPAB’s (now known as Cape Town City Ballet) Director, David Poole. Their aim is to actively and positively affect a social change for children who may be living in challenging social and economic circumstances, with poverty being a huge factor in these children’s lives.
They’ve helped over 1500 students from ages 5 to young adults, offering free dance classes ranging from Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, African and Spanish Dance to rural areas.
As a multicultural Studio, we are proud to help such a cause, with some of our Team being South African natives and we think everyone should have the right to an education.
