Over recent years Studio Indigo has enjoyed substantial growth and now has nearly 40 designers across both architecture and interior disciplines within the studio.
Over the later part of 2014, Studio Indigo undertook a refurbishment of our studios in Chelsea Wharf to better suit our growing needs as a practice and to build on the existing character afforded by the open loft type space we currently enjoy.
Whilst we were keen to retain the open plan office ethos that helps us collaborate well as a team, we have attempted to provide a sense of arrival by creating a dedicated reception/sitting and display area to showcase our architectural models. In conjunction with this the office desk layout has been re-organised incorporating new workstations to provide efficient use of space and storage, whilst the bathrooms have been refurbished and kitchen renewed.
At the mezzanine level we now have three dedicated boardroom / meeting room spaces that allow us to hold simultaneous conferences for different purposes throughout any given day. The hope is that we have created a more creative environment for us all to brainstorm our ideas and convince our clients to run with them!
