Position: Architectural Revit Technician

You will be working for a multidisciplinary architectural practice specializing in bespoke residential projects in the UK and abroad.

Initially the role will involve providing technical support for a close-knit BIM Team with the view to expand the whole office to BIM based software.

The successful candidate must be able to work in high pressure situations and dovetail with the BIM team’s workload and deadlines

You will report to one of the firm’s managing directors.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed working drawings / BIM Model
  • Lead and action both setup and audit of Revit Files
  • Identifying, collating and creating BIM objects that can be downloaded from the firm’s central library
  • Assist and support others in BIM software and standards
  • Lead BIM review| coordination meetings

Required Skills & Experience

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Able to demonstrate relevant UK project experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional practises
  • Experience in high end residential (private) preferable
  • Fully conversant in Revit. Expert user in 2015-2017
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Sketchup preferable
  • Proficient in developing 3D models and producing drawings using Revit
  • Proficient in building bespoke families with Revit
  • Knowledgeable of BIM and its integration into the design and detailing process
  • Must feel comfortable working under your own initiative as well as part of a team

Position: Project Architect

You will be working for a multidisciplinary architectural practice specializing in bespoke residential projects in the UK and abroad.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supporting Management and running of architectural projects within the Practice
  • Ability, skills & motivation to act as independent project architect with support from senior staff
  • Taking responsibility for leading and managing projects from concept design stage, through development of design and all necessary stages or applications for statutory approvals, production information, specifications, tender process, including carrying out inspections of projects on site, as defined by the RIBA Plan of Work;
  • Managing project profitability and organisation of resources and co-ordination of projects, including managing variations of brief or instructions and action to recover additional fees;
  • Drawing and presentational skills in tasks reflecting all stages of RIBA Plan of Work
  • Prepare detailed working drawings where required

Required Skills & Experience

  • RIBA/ARB registered preferable
