This family home in Cottesmore Gardens is a large terraced house built in the 1850s and located in the De Vere Conservation Area. The works commenced on site June 2014 upon our clients purchasing property from the previous owners of 1850’s Victorian House.
The design of the house seeks to improve the existing façade whilst addressing very poor condition of existing rear façade. The house layout seeks maximises room spaces to create a house more in keeping with the local area whilst integrating 21st century technology.
Original house consisted of 5 storey house with staff quarters at lower ground floor level.
This 7500 square foot house will provide home cinema and gym with staff accommodation in a new basement formed under the existing house. The basement level is connected to the rest of the house with a new lift serving all floor levels and a more open designed contemporary main staircase.
Granite finishes have been integrated into bathroom and kitchen areas along with bespoke joinery.
Currently works are progressing well in order to complete all works including landscaping works to front and rear facades.
